These terms govern your use of Ilaan. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.
Ilaan ("we", "us") is a platform that helps community organizers list events and helps attendees discover and attend them. Ilaan is operated by Mohammed Khan, a sole trader based in England and Wales, contactable at info.ilaan@gmail.com.
Events on Ilaan are created and run by independent organizers, not by Ilaan. We provide the technology to list, discover and RSVP to events. We are not the organizer, host, or operator of any event, and we are not a party to the agreement between an organizer and an attendee. We do not control and are not responsible for an event's content, safety, accuracy, legality, or whether it takes place as described. You attend events at your own risk.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Ilaan. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. One person, one account.
Free events: RSVPing reserves a place subject to capacity. Paid events (where offered) are sold subject to the organizer's terms and our Organizer Agreement; payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe).
If an organizer cancels an event, paid tickets are refunded. For attendee-initiated cancellations of paid tickets, a full refund is available up to 48 hours before the event start; no refund is available after that point. Free RSVPs can be cancelled at any time at no charge.
You keep ownership of content you post (event details, comments, messages). You grant Ilaan a licence to host and display it to operate the service. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to post it. Content must follow our Community Guidelines.
You must not misuse Ilaan — including posting unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content, harassing others, scraping, or attempting to breach security. See our Community Guidelines for detail.
To the extent permitted by law, Ilaan is not liable for the acts or omissions of organizers or attendees, for events themselves, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
We may suspend or remove accounts or content that breach these terms or the law. You can stop using Ilaan and delete your account at any time from Account Settings.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Questions: info.ilaan@gmail.com.
